Many sites have statistics associated with them. But what do they mean? Where did our potential client come from? What did he see on the site? Where did he exit the site? Why? Did he get what he wanted? Do you know?
You’d be amazed at how hard some of these questions are to answer from a standard set of web statistics. The logs can be vast and read like another language. What you need is someone to interpret them for you.

But when you can click a button on a set of on-line statistics that answer questions such as “Which of my top three referrers forwarded the most references on this page this month?”, in a graphical and textual display, you know you’re well on the way understanding your client base.
